There are four different sets of Thermography Scans that you can have.

These Include:

1) Breast Scans - For women who want to observe breast heat patterns, vascular activity, inflammation, and asymmetries over time. Especially useful as part of a proactive breast-health routine.

2) Cranio/Dental/Thyroid Scans - A focused scan for the head, jaw, dental regions, sinuses, neck, and thyroid area. Helpful when exploring patterns related to dental inflammation, TMJ, thyroid imbalance, headaches, sinus issues, or neck tension.

3) Upper Body Scans - Includes spine, chest, abdomen, shoulders, arms, and hands. Useful for chronic pain, inflammation, organ-area stress patterns, circulation, injury recovery, and musculoskeletal concerns.

What will thermographic imaging show me?

breastld

Your thermographic scan reveals patterns of heat, circulation, and physiological activity within the area being assessed.

Each scan undergoes a multi-step review process. First, the images are analyzed using specialized thermography software, which measures temperature variations and identifies areas that may warrant further attention.

Next, a certified thermographer conducts a detailed clinical interpretation of the thermal patterns and prepares a written report outlining any significant findings. This report is then reviewed by your thermography technician, who will discuss the results with you and provide individualized recommendations based on your health history, goals, and scan findings.

In cases where notable patterns are identified, the thermographer and technician may collaborate to ensure that recommendations are thorough, accurate, and appropriate for your specific situation.

Our goal is not to diagnose disease, but to provide meaningful information about inflammation, circulation, stress patterns, and physiological changes that may help guide your wellness and healthcare decisions.

What Happens Next?

Your scans are now forwarded to the thermography technician for follow up with you. They will assess the findings and you will have a virtual call over zoom or whatsapp with your tech, so that they can explain the interpretation to you and offer any recommendations to for the next steps.  The reports will be forwarded to you by email, and are your property.

Depending on the results of the findings, you may be recommended to have further testing or imaging completed, have lifestyle, dietary or other recommendations and any other changes that would be relevant to your results. Follow up images will be recommended in 6 months to one years time, depending on the results.

Why Nomad Thermography?

Thermography is only as useful as the eyes interpreting the patterns.

With nearly 30 years in clinical practice — including acupuncture, East Asian medicine, shiatsu, manual therapy, anatomy, physiology, and bodywork — I look at your scans through a whole-body lens.

A hot area may be local inflammation.
A cold area may suggest poor circulation.
A breast pattern may relate to lymphatic flow, dental stress, hormonal changes, or deeper systemic imbalance.
A spinal pattern may connect to posture, injury, organ stress, or compensation elsewhere.

The goal is not to scare you.
The goal is to give you useful information.

Your scans are reviewed by experienced clinical thermographers, and you receive a written report plus a follow-up conversation so you understand what the images may be showing and what your next steps might be.
