Meridian Care Center – Terms and Conditions for Level 2 Live Destination Training
Effective Date: June 2025
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Meridian Care Center website (https://meridiancarecenter.com), and constitute a binding agreement between you and Meridian Care Center, 2967 Dundas St W #429B Toronto ON M6P 1Z2, including any participation in our Level 2 Live Destination Training programs.
By accessing our Site and Services or submitting a deposit for any course, you agree that you:

Will be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
1. Waiver of Liability and Informed Consent
By submitting your deposit and/or participating in this course, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the nature of the retreat, which may involve physical activity and manual therapy techniques. You agree to take full responsibility for your own health, safety, and well-being throughout the course. You also acknowledge that this document serves as the primary waiver of liability and health declaration.
Meridian Care Center is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, losses, or damages sustained during the course. You are responsible for seeking medical advice before participating in any physical activity and for informing the facilitator of any health concerns in advance.
2. Travel and Accommodation Disclaimer
Travel Requirements: Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the destination. This includes, but is not limited to, passport and visa requirements, airfare, travel insurance, ground transportation, and personal documentation.
Travel Insurance: It is strongly recommended that participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers health, accidents, cancellations, and lost property.
Accommodation and Meals: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, accommodation and meals are not included in the course fee. Recommendations may be provided, but participants are free to choose their own lodging.
3. Course Registration, Deposits, and Refund Policy
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $500 CAD is required to secure your place in the training. Submitting this deposit indicates agreement with all Terms outlined here.
Balance and Payment Plans: All course fees must be paid in full before the retreat begins. If a payment plan is selected, all payments must be completed on time. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of your spot and deposit.
Participant Cancellation:

More than 60 days before start date: Full refund minus deposit and $50 administration fee.

30–59 days before start date: 50% refund or 75% credit toward future training.

Less than 30 days before: No refund; 50% credit may be issued at our discretion.

Medical emergencies: Credit may be issued with valid documentation.
Organizer Cancellation: If the course must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered an alternative date within 12 months. If in-person rescheduling is not possible, the course may be delivered online. Travel and lodging expenses will not be reimbursed.
4. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to uphold a respectful, professional demeanor throughout the training. Meridian Care Center reserves the right to dismiss any participant exhibiting disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior. A prorated refund may be issued for unused course days.
5. Pre-Requisites and Eligibility
Participants must be health professionals or have a minimum of 100 hours of training in anatomy and physiology. Documentation may be required. Completion of Level 1: Qi Hacking is mandatory prior to attending Level 2. If pre-requisites are not met or documented, admission may be denied without refund.
6. Photography, Video, and Digital Assets
Photographs and video taken during the course remain the property of Meridian Care Center. Personal identifiers will not be used publicly without consent. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, notify us in writing prior to the retreat.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials are protected under copyright and trademark. Materials are for personal, non-commercial use only and may not be reproduced or taught without explicit written permission from Meridian Care Center.
8. Limitations of Liability
Meridian Care Center disclaims any liability for injuries, losses, or damages incurred during or after participation in this training. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of personal belongings, travel issues, or medical conditions aggravated by participation. You participate voluntarily and assume all associated risks.
9. General Site and Service Terms
All other site-related terms including privacy, disclaimers, intellectual property, pricing, warranties, and indemnities remain in effect. Please refer to the general Terms available on our website for full details.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved through negotiation or alternative dispute resolution where possible, prior to litigation.
