A personal story - how I used Qi Hacking to heal my thyroid and more
The results of my 40-day reset have been truly profound—far beyond what I could have anticipated when I began.
I entered this reset during the Metal element season, working specifically with the Lung and Large Intestine. My intention was clear: to let go of everything that no longer served me. I wrote these intentions down and, at the end of the 40 days, burned them in a simple but meaningful ceremony.
Each day, I meditated, stimulated the microcosmic orbit, expanded it into the quantum field, and consciously asked my guides and angels for support in my healing. This was a practice I shared with my community through emails, alongside Qigong classes we practiced together—classes focused on clearing, preparation for the Water season, the Winter Solstice, and the Atlas 3i integration.
When the Body Started Speaking Through the Skin
A few days into the cleanse, I noticed marks appearing on my legs. At first, I assumed they were flea bites—my cat had recently come inside with a tick, and it seemed logical. But the marks increased rapidly, and it quickly became clear this wasn’t the pattern of flea or tick bites.
At the same time, I was deep in a Metal element cleanse. In Chinese medicine, the skin is an extension of the Lung—a primary organ of detoxification. Part of me wondered whether my body was releasing something internally through the skin.
Still, the symptoms were uncomfortable and concerning. I was extremely fatigued, had chest pain and palpitations, no appetite, and felt generally unwell. Food was unappealing. After several days, my bottom lip suddenly swelled one evening. About 36 hours later, my top lip swelled dramatically. Two days after that, my throat began to close—similar to an anaphylactic reaction—though it stopped before fully progressing.
At this point, the skin reaction was appearing where clothing touched my body. I changed detergents, washed all my clothes and sheets, and tried various topical remedies—baking soda, lavender, iodine, insect itch creams. Some gave temporary relief, but nothing resolved the reaction.
When Medical Intervention Became Necessary
I had taken Benadryl twice with no effect. Eventually, I called a doctor. He concluded quickly that I likely had mites from my cat and prescribed a topical ointment and prednisone.
I took the prednisone immediately and applied the topical—but within hours, the reaction became even more intense. It was nighttime, I was alone, and my car was in the shop. Fear set in. I called a neighbor, who took me to the hospital.
After a couple of hours, the reaction began to calm—likely from the prednisone—but it also seemed to come in cycles. I was sent home and made it through the night.
The next morning, the doctor instructed me to quadruple the prednisone dose and begin taking Reactine as well. Within three to four days, the reaction completely stopped. However, the medication left me feeling unwell, and I was preparing to travel.
A Pattern Begins to Reveal Itself
While traveling—first to El Salvador, then to Colorado—I noticed a familiar pattern: mild rashes starting around my ankles and chest discomfort returning. Each time, Reactine controlled the symptoms.
Eventually, back in Canada, I visited another doctor and was referred to an allergist—though the appointment was months away.
One morning, before that visit, I looked up and saw my bottle of thyroid medication on the table. Suddenly, it clicked.
I had started a new bottle of thyroid medication about 10 days before the reaction began.
I told the doctor and wondered aloud whether the medication might be contaminated—or whether something more unexpected was happening. I had entered the cleanse with a strong intention to heal my thyroid and eventually come off medication. What if my body no longer needed it?
At first, the idea felt almost too far-fetched. But I couldn’t ignore it.
Listening Instead of Forcing
I received a new prescription and began very slowly reducing my thyroid medication, monitoring carefully. In the past, even missing one dose would leave me exhausted days later. This time, that didn’t happen.
Over the next two weeks, I tapered off completely—still taking Reactine—and continued to observe. The reaction persisted, but I learned that T4 can take up to a month to fully leave the body, so I stayed patient.
Around this time, a doctor from Costa Rica was offering a form of neurotherapy using micro-dose injections into fascia to help reset the nervous system. I decided to try it. On the final day, he administered an IV nutrient infusion—vitamin C, NAC, glutathione, and sulfur-based compounds.
I did not take Reactine—and I had no reaction.
Two days later, I noticed a few itchy spots. The next day, mild lip swelling. The day after that, the top lip again—nothing severe, nothing escalating. I chose to observe rather than intervene, trusting my body’s intelligence.
The Result
Ten more days have passed.
No reaction.
No thyroid medication.
No coffee.
No collapse in energy.
I feel a little tired at times, a little woozy—but stable. My body is holding itself.
It appears that by applying the exact practices I teach—working with intention, visualization, the microcosmic orbit, and the quantum field—I not only quit coffee without withdrawal, but I may have healed my thyroid.
This is extraordinary to me.
Not just because I no longer wish to be dependent on medication for life—but because it demonstrates how powerful this work can be when practiced correctly, patiently, and with trust.
Some of you were with me during this journey. You received my emails. You knew I wasn’t well. It got intense. It got frightening. And then—slowly—it clarified.
This is one of those stories we hear about and wonder if it could ever happen to us.
I’m sharing it because it happened to me.
And because sometimes, healing doesn’t arrive quietly—it arrives through a profound unraveling before the body finds its way home.
This experience is exactly why I teach Qi Hacking.
Not as a promise of miraculous cures, and not as a replacement for medical care—but as a systematic way to work with the body’s intelligence, the nervous system, and the energetic pathways that govern regulation, resilience, and repair.
Qi Hacking is not about forcing outcomes.
It’s about learning how to listen, how to circulate energy correctly, and how to remove interference so the body can do what it already knows how to do.
During this 40-day reset, I didn’t add anything extreme. I didn’t push. I didn’t override symptoms. I worked with:
-
Daily cultivation practices
-
The microcosmic orbit as a regulatory pathway
-
Conscious intention and visualization
-
Nervous system settling rather than stimulation
-
Seasonal alignment (Metal → Water)
-
Allowing the body to release rather than suppress
What unfolded surprised even me.
This is the work I teach in Qi Hacking:
how to build capacity, how to recognize when symptoms are communication rather than failure, and how to stay present when the process feels uncomfortable or unclear.
Qi Hacking is for people who want to:
-
develop discernment rather than dependence
-
work with their physiology instead of against it
-
understand energetic responses instead of fearing them
-
cultivate resilience, not quick fixes
My experience during this reset didn’t come from doing more—it came from doing the right things, consistently, and trusting the process long enough for clarity to emerge.
