The purpose of tapping and sweeping
In relationship with this weeks Meridian Pair – the San Jiao | Triple Burner | Triple Warmer and Pericardium
Tapping and Sweeping clears our energy field and meridians, stimulates the meridians and acupoints gently and allows us to activate an intention into our body.
Tapping can be gently stimulating to the lymphatic system, to help the body eliminate unwanted cellular waste.
It helps us to engage and settle the nervous system, and disrupts repetitive thought patterns. This makes it a very empowering technique.
It has been used to manage depression, anxiety, PTSD, weight loss, pain management, sleeping problems by restoring balance in the prefrontal cortex.
Many coaches and therapists are using EFT tapping in their sessions, and one of the techniques that they use is to install a belief while they are going through the tapping routine.
More and more research is showing the effectiveness of meridian tapping, or EFT tapping and it is becoming a very popular technique due to its simplicity and effectiveness.
There are many courses available now on EFT tapping that have incorporated acupoint therapy and tapping routines for specific symptoms, such as anxiety or weight loss. Certain acupoints that we have discussed in this training have an amazing impact with just light pressure and intention.
